Cycling Tour of Arts Communities

Discover the world of art in the Haliburton Highlands - on your bike.

This fully guided cycling tour will take you on a breathtaking adventure along scenic back roads and through small villages and hamlets.

You will visit a variety of art studios - an exclusive opportunity to chat with fascinating artists, observe demonstrations and view (and shop for) original works of art.

You will also take time to explore natural and cultural features along the way. Indulge your taste buds with a scrumptious lunch in a unique setting and also enjoy dinner at the Bonnie View Inn on Lake Kashagawigamog.

Choose one of three tours - Tour Du Village (15 km), Gears for Guilford (35 km) or the Rolling Hills of Harburn (65 km) - and "pedal til your arts content".

Guests choose the tour that is best suited to their physical abilities:
* Tour Du Village - for anyone who can ride a bike (mountain bike recommended)
* Gears for Guilford -for the experienced practicing cyclist (road or mountain bike)
* Rolling Hills of Harburn - for the serious cyclist (road bike)

Guests are encouraged to bring their own bike.

Bikes are also available for rent.

Helmets are mandatory.

Tours typically start at 8:30 am and finish by 5:00 pm.
