The experience begins with a winch-tow to a minimum of 1000' (usually closer to 1500') from flat ground on a two-person glider (each fly separately with a certified instructor), upon release float freely and bird-like, back to a gentle landing on wheels. Surrounded by 30,000 empty, scenic acres, the view is breathtaking. You can see Lake Ontario immediately and then Lake Scugog and sometimes Lake Simcoe. The feeling of freedom is wonderful. Standard liability release waivers must be signed. There is no age limit (parents must sign for minors). The acceptable weight range is from 60 - 250 Lbs. Advance bookings are required. Overdress a tad as its cooler up in the air. Glasses or sunglasses are recommended. Harness and helmet are provided. Weather permitting; flights are available 7 days a week from April 'til November and occasionally in the winter. Allow 30 minutes for each person, so your experience for two will take about an hour from start to finish.
