Let RiverRun Rafting take you back in time with this interpretive and gentle paddle down the historic Ottawa River.Rich with history, the Rocher Fendu section of the river offers 12 kilometers of gentle rapids, isolated islands and spectacular waterfalls. Here you will learn about the portage routes used by the native Algonquin tribes, the exploration routes used by explorer Samuel de Champlain and the history of the logging industry.

This preserved section of the river offers the fun and excitement of gentle rapids and warm waters while paddling around 30 islands. If you are an outdoor wildlife enthusiast, a photographer or a history buff, this eco-adventure is the perfect getaway.

Trips run daily with a 9 am start. Approximate trip time is 5 hours and includes all equipment and riverside lunch.

* Footwear that does not easily slip off, such as aqua shoes, strap-on sport sandals or running shoes, with rubber soles (no flip flops or crocs)
* Swimwear or nylon shorts (something that dries quickly and does not hold water)
