Let RiverRun Rafting take you back in time with this interpretive and gentle paddle down the historical Ottawa River. Rich with history, this section of the river is known as the Rocher Fendu section where you will learn about portage routes used by Algonquin Indians, the exploration of Samuel de Champlain and the history of the logging industry. This preserved section of river offers the fun and excitement of gentle rapids and warm waters while paddling through out 30 islands and around spectacular waterfalls. If you are an outdoor and wildlife enthusiast, a photographer or history buff, this eco-adventure is the perfect getaway. Trips run daily with arrival at 9am, approximate trip time is 5 hours and includes all equipment and riverside lunch. Don't miss the video rerun presentation at the end of your trip.

Footwear that does not easily slip off, such as aqua shoes, strap-on sport sandals or running shoes, with rubber soles (no flip flops or crocs). Swimwear or nylon shorts, something that dries quickly and does not hold water. If you must wear eye or sun glasses use strap retainers.
