Indulge in one of the oldest and most sensual dance forms. This class, designed for students with or without previous dance experience, introduces the dance enthusiasts to basic bellydance movements and enticing Middle Eastern music. The class will include a warm up, technique drills, and a technique instruction, followed by a simple choreography. You and your friends will be taught bellydance posture, how to isolate body movement and the basic dance steps. You will use your arms, hands, stomach, legs and hips in both stationary and travel steps. After learning your choreography, you will be provided with a CD and choreography notes to take home and enjoy. It is a great idea to come and learn the art of bellydancing during a birthday or stagette party!
