From ages 6 to 86 years young, this soft adventure raft trip is exciting and fun for adults as well as children. RiverRun Rafting will take your family down the majestic Ottawa River, rich in history with spectacular scenery. The Middle Channel sections offers 12 km of gentle rapids, over 30 islands and spectacular waterfalls. There's plenty of time to enjoy the warm waters of the river, with a riverside picnic lunch and some optional body surfing. Trips run daily with arrival at 9am finishing the day back at the RiverRun Resort base camp which is filled with on-land activities, camping, meals and accommodations (as required). Minimum Age is 6 years and 50lbs. Footwear that does not easily slip off, such as aqua shoes, strap-on sport sandals or running shoes, with rubber soles (no flip flops or crocs). Swimwear or nylon shorts, something that dries quickly and does not hold water (If you must wear eye or sun glasses use strap retainers. Wetsuits can be rented before safety briefing; Wetsuits are at no extra charge for children 6 - 11 (subject to availability) on the family trip
